Volunteering

I volunteered with PDX Women in Tech to mentor women developers and guide them in their careers through regular mentorship sessions.  

 We worked to remove invasive species and weeds growing on hiking trails in burnt areas after the Eagle Creek Fire in Oregon. This is important to maintain the ecological balance for native species and wild animals and birds dependent on them. 

I also volunteered with Catholic Charities Refugee Program to help refugees settle in and adapt to American life. This includes cultural training, running errands and English language training.

I like my furry friends so I occasionally visited them and volunteered to help out at the OFOSA animal shelter in Oregon.
